Prices in US dollars, before any sales tax.
Why it costs less, and what you give up.
If the price looks low for what's included, here's why: where the savings come from, what Flatdesk doesn't do, and how to check the quality on your own tickets before you pay.
- Each AI answer costs us a few centsAnswers are written by Claude Opus from Anthropic. Each costs us cents, so 100 per seat fit in the seat price. That's also why the AI stops at the limit instead of billing you more, and nobody's price goes up to cover another team's busy month.
- No sales team to pay forYou sign up and pay on your own, so the price doesn't have to cover demos and sales calls.
- One plan, so nothing is held backTiers exist to push you onto a bigger plan. With one plan, every seat gets everything.
- It does less, on purposeFlatdesk handles email and chat for teams of 3 to 15. No phone, social channels or app marketplace means much less to build and run.
What Flatdesk doesn't do
- Phone, SMS, WhatsApp and social channels
- An app marketplace
- Full SLA policies with escalations (first-reply targets only)
- A help center in several languages or on your own domain
- Shopify order data in the ticket
Check it before the first charge
- AI test driveThe AI drafts replies to the last 50 tickets your team answered, next to what your team sent. Customers don't see them.
- 14-day trial, no cardImport from your old help desk and keep it running while your team tries Flatdesk on real tickets.
- Refund a wrong AI answerEvery AI answer you pay for is on the monthly statement. An admin can refund a wrong one in one click.
- Leave any timeMonthly plans have no contract, and you can export tickets, messages, customers and macros any time.

Questions about billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days with every feature and no card, including 25 AI answers per agent for the trial (up to 250 for the team). Add a card any time to get the full 100 per agent a month. The first charge is when the trial ends, or 2 days after you add the card if that's later.
Can viewers see tickets without paying for a seat?
Yes. An admin can make any member who isn't an admin a viewer in Settings. Viewers can read every ticket and report but can't reply or change anything, and they aren't billed.
What counts as an AI answer?
A conversation the AI finishes without your team. Other help desks call this a resolution. The AI can answer up to 3 follow-ups in the same conversation and it still counts once. If it hands the conversation to your team, including when the customer asks for a person, it doesn't count.
What happens when we use all the included resolutions?
The AI stops for the rest of the month and new conversations go to your team as normal tickets. You aren't charged. You get an email at 80% and at 100%.
How does overage work?
Only an admin can turn it on, in Settings under AI answers. Each answer past the included amount then costs $0.40. You can set a monthly limit and turn it off any time.
Are the resolutions per agent or per team?
Per team. A team of 10 agents gets 1,000 a month to share.
Is there a contract or a minimum?
No. Monthly billing has no contract. Add or remove seats any time and cancel in Settings. Yearly billing is paid a year ahead for the lower price and runs to the end of that year. If someone leaves mid-year, their seat stays paid until renewal and the next person you add takes it for free.
Is there a discount for paying yearly?
Yes. Yearly billing is $39 per agent per month, 20% less than $49 month to month, charged as $468 per agent for the year. Same features, same 100 AI answers per agent a month. Seats added during the year are charged for the rest of it. Overage, if you turn it on, is billed monthly.
Can we take our data with us?
Yes. Settings exports tickets (with tags), messages, customers and macros as CSV or JSON. Attachments aren't included; download them from each ticket. You never have to ask us.
